“Mixin’ It Up With Mintz”

Ben Mintz

Ben Mintz is the new sports talk radio host of The Ticket 100.7 FM. His show “Mixin’ It Up With Mintz” is from 3-6pm central Mondays to Fridays. He is a former online and live professional poker player who has roots all over the Southeast and a strong Twitter following. His poker career highlight was finishing 75th in the World Series of Poker Main Event. He has been featured on ESPN and Fox Sports Net and was ranked top 200 in the world in online poker in 2010.

Hailing from Monroe, Louisiana, Mintz graduated Ole Miss with a degree in managerial finance in August of 2015. He lived in New Orleans from 2009 to 2014 and has many supporters from the Big Easy as well. The only thing he learned in finance was that he did not want to waste his life being bored working in a bank and decided to follow his passion into sports radio. His fiery and animated personality is going to spark the airwaves of Shreveport and Bossier. He is an encyclopedia of football knowledge and is excited to share it with northwest Louisiana. He plans to become very active in the Shreveport/Bossier community with high school sports and the colleges in this area. His show debuted December 14th, 2015, and is drawing good reviews already.
